The Magnus Group, Inc. was formed in 2009 as the result of a simple belief: That there was a better way to conduct business in the high-risk, high-exposure world of private investigations. Founder Brett Brodersen set about gathering experienced people to help him create and run an agency that carried ethics and integrity at the core of its operating principles. By bringing together a team of educated, experienced and motivated investigators all dedicated to the idea that the higher standard is both achievable and maintainable, The Magnus Group exists today as a licensed and bonded Private Detective Agency that combines both skill and integrity, resulting in long-term relationships and a reputation for excellence that shines among our clients and the public at large. Founder and current president Brett Brodersen has been in the field of professional investigations since first attaining the title of Special Investigator in 1995, and then working in the public, private, corporate and governmental sectors (the latter of which adjudicated him "Top Secret" security clearance in matters pertaining to national security). As well as holding his B.A. degree various and academic distinctions, Mr. Brodersen is a licensed investigator in multiple Midwestern states, the six-term president of the Nebraska Association of Licensed Private Investigators (NALPI), a professional member of the Sigma Delta Chi Society of Professional Journalists, and a professionally-trained investigator, interviewer and negotiator. He has been a bonded public official since 1999 and has served in the public trust with a perfect operational record.
