Sentry Data Systems, LLC is a fully licensed and bonded Private investigative agency specializing in computer forensics.

We have assisted federal, state, and local law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies over the past nine (9) years. We have testified as computer forensics experts in criminal courts in the state of Michigan. Inv. Jacobsen has been Certified as a Forensic Computer Investigator (CFCE) from 2001 to the present date. This certification was earned from the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS). IACIS is the world’s largest organization dealing with the training of computer forensic investigators.

IACIS instructs police personnel from all over the world including investigators from Scotland Yard. Mr. Jacobsen has conducted forensic exams for numerous Michigan State Police Posts, Michigan State Police Narcotic Teams, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Unites States Coast Guard, (USCG), and the Immigration & Customs Enforcement agency (ICE).
